Artist Pipeline Tool Coding


For different studios, I've created studio-wide suites of artist tools coded in Python with PySide, for artists to use within Nuke, Maya and on the desktop (executables for Windows and Mac) featuring:
• custom user interfaces with dynamic, responsive dialogs
• continuous feedback, so users know what's happening
• progress bars

The tools are designed to feel "second-nature" to the artists and:
• make artists happy by eliminating repetitive tasks
• increase studio efficiency
• eliminate inconsistencies
• ensure files are named, located and formatted per standard operating procedure

In my unusual position as both an artist and a coder, I also use the tools myself on real projects so I understand the needs of the artists.

I also created full written documentation and recorded video tutorials, for all the tools.
