Fred Lewis began his career studying film cinematography and traditional cell animation before moving into computer graphics. Before the era of photorealistic CGI, he also built miniature models for go‑motion projects, giving him a unique foundation that bridges both practical and digital techniques.
Fred’s work spans a broad range of industries and creative formats:
• National commercials for PepsiCo, Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Logitech, and S. C. JohnsonAlongside his artistic roles, Fred develops custom pipeline tools for Maya, Nuke, and Cinema 4D, as well as standalone applications for Windows and Mac. With more than 14 years of experience using Python with PySide, he creates solutions shaped by his dual experience as both an artist and a coder. Because he relies on these tools in real production environments, his work directly improves efficiency for studios while supporting the practical needs of artists.
